Wonder Welders Workshop, nestled in Tanzania's bustling ocean-side city of Dar es Salaam, gives employment and opportunity to some of Tanzania's most disadvantaged citizens. Founded by UK-born photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks, Wonder Welders trains and employs 35 physically disabled individuals- mostly victims of Polio- to make "Hip, Recycled Art" out of scrap metal, glass, paper, cans, pineapple tops, and other donated items.
