Imports like mattresses, flip-flops, and petrol are loaded onto wooden cargo boats on the Ugandan side of Lake Albert, bound for Kasenyi, a small port town of Ituri. Because of lack of infrastructure, security, and poor economic conditions, nearly everything is imported into Ituri.
